Rev. olexa Harbuziuk Legacy
Пастор олекса Романович Гарбузюк
The Rev. Dr. Jerry Falwell (1933 - 2007) founded Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 1971 and also was a co-founder of the Moral Majority political movement in 1979, which lasted about 10 years.
When Elizabeth Harbuziuk (second from left) graduated from Liberty University in 1988, she had the honor of having her picture taken with the president of the university, Rev. Falwell, and his wife, Macel, along with Elizabeth's sister Vera and their parents.
In March 1993, Rev. Harbuziuk traveled to Essen, Germany, where the Rev. Billy Graham was holding a crusade. The crusade was broadcast on television worldwide, but in Ukraine the voice that people heard was Rev. Harbuziuk's as he translated Billy Graham's messages.
Rev. Harbuziuk is a couple of people to the left of Billy Graham (to Graham's right) and a couple of rows back.
This is a smaller group of translators posing near the booths that they used while listening to Billy Graham speak and then translating him. Olexa Harbuziuk is near the middle of the group.
