Some of the young people attending the 1967 annual youth conference gathered for a photo. The event was held June 30 to July 2 in Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania. (Photo copied from the Youth Bulletin)
This youth convention was held Memorial Day weekend in 1969 instead of the usual Fourth of July weekend, according to an article in the Youth Bulletin. This photo shows a few people who had arrived at that point. Standing in front is the youth president, Michael Jakubovich. Young people came from New York, Newark, NJ; Crum Lynne, Minneapolis, Chicago and Philadelphia. The guest speaker was Eugene Lemcio, who at the time was a teacher at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. The convention theme was based on Proverbs 3:5 -- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
