The 71st annual conference of the Ukrainian Evangelical Baptist Convention in the United States has now passed into history. Some of the highlights of the weekend:

* Rev. Vyacheslav Nesteruk, vice president of the Baptist Union of Ukraine, preached.
* The worship team of the local church led the congregational singing with many uplifting songs, including "Come, Now Is the Time to Worship," "Precious Cornerstone," "Blessed Be the Name" and "Bless the Lord, O My Soul."
* Evangelist Don Betts preached a stirring message.
* The women of the church served delicious meals.
* At least 16 churches in the association were represented at the conference.
